The infection rate? The demographics? The geography of the spread?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you know the&nbsp;<em>actual<\/em>&nbsp;death-rate? By what means?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask yourself: By what method or methods do you conclude? By what process do you determine accuracy? How do you distinguish between possible, probable, and certain?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you decide if the information you\u2019re acting upon is true? By what standard?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does \u201ctrue\u201d mean?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is true synonymous with correct?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask yourself: How do we calculate the number of people worldwide, who are suffering from&nbsp;<em>other<\/em>&nbsp;illnesses and who cannot receive medical attention because of policies that have been enacted overnight? Upon what data were these policies determined? And was that data accurate? And how do we know?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How does government determine \u201cessential businesses\u201d from \u201cnon-essential\u201d and why?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By what authority is government permitted to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/03\/30\/dc-mayor-threatens-jail-time-for-leaving-home-during-coronavirus\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">arrest people<\/a>&nbsp;for being outside?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By what authority is government permitted to break up a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-8169339\/Shocking-moment-huge-line-police-officers-forced-disperse-girls-birthday-party-LA.html?ito=amp_twitter_share-top\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">one-year-old\u2019s birthday party<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do we calculate the number of people who will lose their entire life savings and the retirement for which they worked all their adult life?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do we calculate the number of small businesses, including dentists, veterinarians, optometrists, doctors, and much, much, much more that will vanish because of governmental mandates &#8212; mandates permitted by whose authority? Mandates based upon what data? And how do we know if that data is correct?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do we calculate the number of grocery stores and gas stations that will no longer be able to stay open and keep stocked?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will crime spike? Will the social fabric tear apart? And how do you know, one way or the other?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you even&nbsp;<em>attempt<\/em>&nbsp;to know?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nobel Prize winning economist Friedrich Hayek described the \u201cflow of knowledge\u201d as the \u201ccentral issue in all social organization,\u201d which is overwhelmingly economic. Ask yourself: have we been cut off from a flow of knowledge which otherwise would have been ours had we left this issue to the private, non-governmental sectors, which sectors&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/business\/2020\/03\/16\/cdc-who-coronavirus-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\">would have brought you a Covid-19 test<\/a>&nbsp;as quickly as you could order takeout, and for the exact same reasons?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is the so-called Swine Flu (H1N1) from ten years ago all but forgotten &#8212;  despite 57 million infections worldwide and 12,469 fatalities &#8212; whereas coronavirus has created a collective panic worldwide and, as a result of that panic, an economic nightmare in the making? Was the critical difference&nbsp;<em>really<\/em>&nbsp;that in the case of H1N1, the CDC&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2009_flu_pandemic_in_the_United_States\" target=\"_blank\">worked with private laboratories and private medical facilities<\/a>&nbsp;to disperse the tests, and succeeded?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask yourself: why have&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2020\/03\/17\/a-fiasco-in-the-making-as-the-coronavirus-pandemic-takes-hold-we-are-making-decisions-without-reliable-data\/\" target=\"_blank\">contrary perspectives<\/a>&nbsp;by people with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/is-the-coronavirus-as-deadly-as-they-say-11585088464?mod=hp_opin_pos_2\"> impeccable credentials<\/a> been ignored?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why in&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aier.org\/article\/south-korea-preseved-open-infection-rates-are-falling\/\" target=\"_blank\">South Korea<\/a>&nbsp;have infection rates fallen and fallen &#8212; with no shutdowns, no geographic quarantines, no panics, but everything open for business?
