However, the hospital has a limited number of tests they can give per day. &nbsp;<\/p><p>Owaynat said the number of patients coming through the testing center who appear to have already had coronavirus and gotten over it is far greater than those who currently have the disease.<\/p><p>\u201cA lot of people have high antibodies, which means they had the coronavirus but they don\u2019t have it anymore and their bodies built the antibodies,\u201d Owaynat told&nbsp;<em>Chicago City Wire<\/em>.<\/p><p>Antibodies in the bloodstream reveal that a person has already had the coronavirus and&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/european-politicians-are-making-big-promises-about-antibody-passports-the-science-is-still-catching-up\/2020\/04\/07\/3c228b20-7887-11ea-a311-adb1344719a9_story.html\" target=\"_blank\">may be immune&nbsp;<\/a>to contracting the virus again.<\/p><p>If accurate, this means the spread of the virus may have been underway in the Roseland community &#8211; and the state and country as a whole &#8211; prior to the issuance of stay at home orders and widespread business closures in mid-March which have crippled the national economy.<\/p><p>In addition, those who show signs of already having had the illness should be able to re-enter society &#8212; albeit with some modified social distancing measures in place &#8212; rather than sheltering at home as they are no longer in danger. Of those who contract the coronavirus, around<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/03\/31\/health\/coronavirus-asymptomatic-transmission.html\">&nbsp;25 percent may be asymptomatic<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>A recent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bccourier.com\/these-are-the-first-lessons-of-the-heinsberg-study\/\">study of 1,000 people in the Heinsberg District&nbsp;<\/a>of Bonn, Germany found that 15% of the population had contracted the virus, many unknowingly and without symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of those, only 0.37% died from COVID-19, a figure much lower than those&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/health-51674743\">previously cited<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<a href=\"https:\/\/chicagocitywire.com\/stories\/530092711-roseland-hospital-phlebotomist-30-of-those-tested-have-coronavirus-antibody#.Xo-lmFGTXQ4.twitter\" class=\"aioseop-link\">Link<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I believe also that the following is worth chronicling &#8212; because the sanctimony and hypocrisy is appalling.
