Jason Mattera, author of the excellent book Obama Zombies — which captures very well the mindset of the brainwashed masses who went in for Barack Obama without any real regard for the actual content of his political philosophy — is refreshingly fearless in confronting politicians and calling them out. Politically, I do not always agree with Jason Mattera, but I always enjoy watching his videos:
Also, in response to Joe Biden’s false and outrageous remarks, as Ed Morrissey notes, “the President’s ‘jobs’ bill doesn’t go directly to hire police officers anyway. Instead, it allows states to paper-over budget gaps for another year rather than address their systemic budgetary issues, and protect unionized bureaucrats whose jobs should be on the chopping block.”
Here are a couple of other Jason Mattera videos that I hope you enjoy as much as I did:
Openly socialist Vermont senator Bernie Sanders selling his book (capitalistically) at (capitalistic) Barnes & Noble:
Jason Mattera to Barney Frank: “All right, sir. Fist bump?” Barney Frank: “No.”
Al Franken to Jason Mattera: “You have to shut up right now and listen to me.”
“Show some respect for taxpayer dollars?”
Well since it seems to be a joke in Washington, I say everyone vote for the jokester – Cain. I’m sure he will change the world because he just isn’t in the same mind as all the rest.
I like Cain, but most agree Newt is the smartest guy in the room.
Newt’s biggest problem, like Palin, is the permanent stains of liberal political smears perpetuated by the Corrupt Democrat Media Propaganda Complex.
E.g., my wife hates him, but it is based on a phony projected image that she can’t seem to see through. It’s pretty much “talk to the hand”. But she sure likes what he says.
Not sure why you think Cain’s a jokester, unless you mean he has a sense of humor. I happen to like that about him. Newt jokes too, but he can be a little snide in his humor.
Cain exhibits certain traits that I think essential for a great leader. I haven’t cast a lot, but would gladly accept him over that bleep in the White House.

I can understand why Biden wants to convert the Federal government into a police state. That’s what tyrants need to enforce their totalitarianism.
That’s you, Joe Biden, like Harry filthy language Reid, who claim high moral ground from which you proclaim the right to my income, my property, everything I work so hard for.
It is not a function of the Federal government to pay for local firemen, police, or teachers. Please get your dirty money (these are all union “workers”) somewhere else, you pigs.
–
I heard a guy on the radio today that really nailed it. In part, he stated how everything Democrats say and do offends him, and he is sick and tired of people whose claims are always lies, whose projections are always wrong, whose agenda for our children turns them against their own families and traditions.
–
It reminded me of my argument that liberals are the aggressors in this cultural war. We want them to (says a famous author I know) “Leave Us Alone”.
Liberals want to dictate what we think, what we eat, what we drink, when we do it, what kind of cars we drive, prefer to force us to ride bikes, force us to buy insurance, force us pay for Ponzi schemes in the guise of medical and retirements they can pilfer at will, force us force us force us.
–
Now, do I hear Ray saying “I have a scheme based on strawman morality that everyone has to pay for or else?” Let me think. Nope. Ray’s “Leave Us Alone” is a two way street: it means we’re perfectly happy to leave liberals alone. That is not aggressive.
In contrast, what’s good ol’ Joe saying? “Tax and spend, or I’ll do everything I can to threaten and intimidate you, change the subject from the fact that I am an abject failure, except at getting personal wealth through public corruption.” Or something like that. I can absolutely guarantee you he has no intention of leaving us alone.
What an asshole.
I’m not saying I don’t like Cain, I mean it when I say he doesn’t have the same mind as the rest. I like someone with a sense of humor :-)
I want someone in office that cares for everyone and looks out for all. I would like to know when education is going to be a top priority in this country, instead of war and oil.
I will be happy when I see we are back on top and not losing what our families way before us worked so hard at getting. Take money out of the equation and maybe someone would see the real problems we have. I would like to be proud of where I’m from instead of waiting on the day money falls from the sky so I can leave this crap hole. Proud is one word I can say I’m not.. embarrassed … yes!
KJJ, “Take the money out of the equation.” Agreed. Amen. No shit. Let’s amend.
For the record, Joe Biden is the asshole. I did not direct that at you.
I didn’t think you did, Dale. Thanks.
Newt and Cain are douchebags.
especially Newt.
I think Newt is a douchebag. Cain just strikes me as a Palin-esque cartoon.
I wish the GOP would get its shit together. They’ve assembled a cast of morons who are trying to dumb each other to death in order to secure the nomination from a giant sack of voting retards.
Is there no critical thinker in the party who’s willing to throw his or her name into the hat?
Each election season gets more and more nauseating.
Well, we now have it on good authority that Newt is a douchebag. Let’s summarize what it is that makes Newt, like all Republicans, a douchebag:
-Newt did not arm Mexican drug cartels, which liberals support and want us to re-elect those who did it.
-Newt did not force, with the “nuclear option”, socialized medicine on America, in violation of our Constitutional rights.
-Newt didn’t use hundreds of billions of taxpayer money to fund dirty deals, like Solyndra.
-Newt wasn’t wrong about unemployment, and he didn’t steal $800B from the taxpayers to fund Solyndra-style corruption.
-Newt doesn’t go around the country espousing Marxist hatred for America, like President Always Wrong.
–
Yep, you’re right Nick. Newt is a douchebag. What we need instead is more liberal morality, more liberal discrimination, more liberal tax-and-spend.
It is working so well.
Why, that’s almost a direct quote of what I said! Well played, sir!
So, is it a lack of arrogant corruption, lack of narcissistic moralizing, lack of using government in acts of brazen discrimination that makes Newt a douchebag?
Just trying to understand, Nick.
1. Lack of arrogant corruption.
“The House voted overwhelmingly yesterday to reprimand House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and order him to pay an unprecedented $300,000 penalty, the first time in the House’s 208-year history it has disciplined a speaker for ethical wrongdoing.
The ethics case and its resolution leave Gingrich with little leeway for future personal controversies, House Republicans said. Exactly one month before yesterday’s vote, Gingrich admitted that he brought discredit to the House and broke its rules by failing to ensure that financing for two projects would not violate federal tax law and by giving the House ethics committee false information.”
2. Lack or narcissistic moralizing.
“Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group.”
3. Lack of using government in acts of brazen discrimination?
“Gingrich, who presided over the House of Representatives as Speaker during the passage of the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, criticized the Obama administration’s decision not to defend the law in federal court and said that if the law is struck down, a constitutional amendment would become necessary.”
And of course he gets general douchebaggery points for dumping two wives, one who was in a cancer ward, and then railing about the sanctity of marriage.
Don’t try, Dale. It’s just your first step towards failure.
Thank you for clearly establishing that Obama is also a douchebag, by these standards.
So, what would you suggest?
Or, are you going to defend the criminal acts of the current administration as the best option?
Unlike Obama, who says he’s “made all the right decisions”, Newt is at least capable of admitting error.
I will cede the argument, Nick, because I have a job that is eating 60-70 hours a week, and I’m not going to play this game with you.
I will observe that Democrats and their press can make things look bad and stick, and they never forgive a non-liberal. Ever. It is against their unbending stubborn intolerance of anyone who does not support their statist ideology.
So, go ahead and attack anyone who opposes the totalitarian tactics of the Democrats, it won’t sway my vote. You can have the assholes.
Speaking of assholes, how about you invite Biden for an overnight, maybe we’ll get lucky in the scorpion lottery!
“Why, that’s almost a direct quote of what I said! Well played, sir!”
Oy, the wit is simply phenomenal.
I dont know whats worse, the sarcasm , or the response as if it wasn’t.
As speaker for the majority, and the guy who balanced Billys budget, dragging him kicking and screaming into the halls of Congress, Newts been closer to the presidency than all candidates combined.
As speaker he even accomplished more that the moron were stuck with today.
He is a bit stiff, but crust o mighty at least the man knows what hes talking half the time more than the rest.
I definitely remember the looks of fear on peoples face when it was mentioned that it was Pelosi who stood third in line for the presidency. Good grief, can you imagine ?
I dont believe we ever saw that face on anyone while Newt held the gable, we could do much worse, besides… its seems the votes will be based on “we could do worse”
Mitts dizzy hes reversed himself so often and Perrys just a bad prototype for another action figure with no genitals.
Oh, and Perry wears his collars way too freeking high.
he looks like Howdy Doody half the time, like his heads about to bobble off
I’d hold my nose and vote for Pawlenty before I voted for Barry
Micky, in your own way you make some of my arguments for Newt. Good summaries on Perry and Mitt.
Silence on Cain? Really?
–
Nick can be sarcastic, or caustic, about Republican candidates and conservative views.
But rather than run down the rabbit hole of what liberal media says about people they don’t like, I prefer to keep that part of the discussion on point.
–
The point is, the current administration is incompetent at best, criminal at worst, to the high and highest levels.
No one died, but Nixon had to go. People died and are dying, and so far the best we have is a lame apology for incompetence? Let’s face it, Holder didn’t have time to stop arming drug cartels, he was too busy stopping Arizona from enforcing immigration laws!
Oh, and the money. Are they stupid, incompetent, corrupt, or just blind when it comes to funding their chums? Is Solyndra an example of this administration’s superb judgment, the same judgment they use when moralizing and discriminating?
Does the media ask? No! They’re too busy digging up 30 year old bullshit on those awful Republicans.
The so-called media is pack of skank Democrats, not worth the paper I wipe with, which at least takes shit off me instead of the other way around.
I like Cain, think he’d do a great job.
The problem is that too many people, like me, feel hes not electable-because too many people feel hes not electable-because too many feel hes not electable…
Kind of a perpetual irony where no one else will pull his lever unless the other guy does.
Of course we should vote for whom we think is best for the job, period, end of story.
But not really, because the status right now is that I’d pull the lever for whoever looked like he could beat Obama. We just cannot survive 4 more years of this shit.
Lets just get someone in there on an interim basis til the better candidate shows up in 4 years.
God, thats really sad, when I’m ready to let Mitt, Perry, even Paul take the reigns.
Seriously, with the system in place I never thought we could hit this level of anarchy no matter how bad the administration, always had faith in the checks and balances that prevent whats starting to look like a one state regime in decline, taking its people and half the world down with it.
Its going to take at least a couple generations to undue this idiots damage.
Four more years of this schmuck will bring us to a point of no return.
Too bad it doesnt appear as if theres any draw between Newt and Cain.
They’d make the best ticket weve had in a while.
Did I say “gable” in my last post ? heh, sorry, its a word I dont think I’ve had to spell since I last got out of prison 16years ago
As far as Fast n Furious goes…
Somethings not right about this whole thing, cant put my finger on it exactly.
Its just too stupid at face value to be true.
You engage in a sting operation where you sell guns to dealers and traffickers and lose track of the guns until they show up at other busts ?
Bush ran the same operation but the buyers were arrested on the spot.
Who lets the guns go galavanting off into the horizon with no ability to track them or see what places/persons of interest they show up around ?
Was there an agent following the shipment, each gun, batchs ?
Did they have GPS chips embedded in them ?
Sort of looks and smells like a give away, hush money maybe, or trade for snitch/info and the buyers broke some rules and sold them to the wrong guys…
I dont know, whoevers running this fiasco and whatever the details are/were I’m willing to bet a dead agent wasnt supposed to be part of the bargain.
ATF/NARCO squads etc have been known to trade goods for info on shipments and maybe these guns were bargained to only certain owners and those owners went rogue and sold em off to anybody.
The only freaking way that these guns were let lose was because they were supposed to expose another layer of onion.
Someone made the wrong deal with the wrong person for ulterior motives.
I have little doubt.
Soon enough we’ll find out who on Holders team made such a flimsy deal more than likely on his own, and the dept is just trying to cover it up or whitewash it with confusion.
Did ja see the pages in this report where every single word had been redacted/blacked out ?
Eric and his boys got hustled, burned, outsmarted, and some poor dude got caught by the lose ends.
You dont just hand these weapons over to the Cartel unless something really big was in it for you…or so they thought.
They got played
Payoff, in exchange for info, hand someone over, drop the right name.
Holder gets a notch in his belt and the chupas got their guns.
But still, if they wanted to cover that then why allow the guns to be linked back to you ?
If I made a deal to a snitch in exchange for a bust the guns I paid him with certainly wouldnt be linked to the ATF or anyone.
ID’ing those guns would be impossible if it were me. Complete sections would of replaced any section with numbers
I dont know, until we know exactly what the tracking method was supposed to be I’m just talkin out my ass.
I doubt they’ll want to give out all their secret ops to public ears, if the recipe gets out they lose the upper hand.
All I know is someone was really stupid not suspecting for one second the guns would surface elsewhere, or they got it in good for Holder and pulled off a pretty dynamic set-up.
Now Assistant AG Lanny Breuer tells Senate Judiciary subcommitee that:
THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS TO BLAME !
Yeah, we saw that comin.
It doesnt seem like theres anyone intelligent enough behind this for a change to the second to be the intention.
As long as these agencies have existed theres been gaps in intel sharing and exchange. Hell, thats what gave us 911, one hand not knowing what the others doing.
Which is astounding seeing as how these days they’re both wrapped around the same dickhead.
“Its going to take at least a couple generations to undue this idiots damage.”
I must disagree. Cast down the rot of liberal Marxism, come together as Americans, develop ALL our energy resources, with a mind to prosperity AND the environment, and we could be booming in just a few years.
–
“Did ja see the pages in this report where every single word had been redacted/blacked out?”
Oh, Micky, you completely miss the point, but this comment says so much. The point is, Waxman is supposed to chair that committee, not Issa. Ooops, that damn election in 2010 messed them up.
Let me restate that. If Pelosi was speaker and Waxman chairing oversight, how much would we know about any of this? There would be no oversight whatsoever. No subpoenas.
Proof? EASY! Are the senate Democrats at all interested, looking into this insidious scheme by the administration?
Is the senate looking into the crony socialism stealing our money for Obama money bundlers?
Is the senate doing its job and holding hearings and debates on legitimate legislation passed by the house?
When was the last time the senate did its constitutional duty and passed a budget?
–
Oh yes, it looks dirty, and I’d bet dollars to donuts the truth is most foul. Until we have hard evidence of who did this and why, the blame lies with the skipper, sitting in the oval.
That is, when he isn’t out inciting hatred against successful Americans and cheering on his army of increasingly violent occupiers.
Personally, I blame the whole lot of them. Harry Reid and all his little soldiers in the senate are just as culpable because they are doing nothing to get to the bottom of it.
Look, I can understand people supporting their party and looking for some personal gain. Duh. But we’re way beyond that.
I assert we are faced with tyrants hell bent on subverting our system, imposing the rules of their shifting morality in place of our rule of law.
–
Like you, Micky, I believe America as founded was a pretty good thing. Given leaders that tell the truth and willing to be faithful to the Constitution, to act for the betterment of Americans over other countries, over dung beetles and minnows in our aqueducts, stuff like that, I’m an optimist.
Like you, Micky, I believe America is in big trouble if we don’t get rid of Obama and his minions in the senate. They will never admit who and what they are. They must be defeated at the ballot box.
“I must disagree. Cast down the rot of liberal Marxism, come together as Americans, develop ALL our energy resources, with a mind to prosperity AND the environment, and we could be booming in just a few years.”
UH, you are aware of the three trillion, soon 4, in debt alone that this office ran up, never mind the deficit spending.
Also, one generation, todays boomers, has in fact been screwed already partially to corporate crime and mismanagement, pensions pissed into the wind, schemes that make Madoff look like Mother Theresa.
Tied in with the Real Estates depreciation theres an awful lot of seniors today that are going to end up calling cat food a luxury.
One things for sure, trust fund babies are going to be a rarity.
In addition, todays parents are having a much harder time getting tuition together because the loan is no longer valid to a mortgage under water, hence, another generation will be going to tech schools and community colleges instead of institutions of higher merit.
Dont even get me started on the idiots public ed is putting out.
Well, at least Michelle Obama is there to teach nutrition/socialized dining
Any energy resources that are worth a damn are going to take much longer than a couple years to hit the market in any viable sense. Any drilling begun now wont be useful for at least 5 years. Which means we’ll still be dependent on the 30% we get from the middle east…that is if The Straight of Hermuz isnt controlled or destroyed by some fanatical Camel Jockey
